It's Homelessness Week 4-10 August ... 'Everyone should have a Home'

Homelessness Week is the annual awareness-raising week to highlight the 116,000 Australians who are homeless on any given night. The main causes of homelessness are poverty, family violence and unaffordable rents. Only about 7% of people experiencing homelessness sleep rough, the vast majority are in cars, crisis accommodation or couch surfing. Homelessness has a major impact on a person's health.
